Mary Learetta McMillan Long - a faithful daughter of our Heavenly Father has now taken the next step in her eternal journey.
Born in Salt Lake City April 6, 1948, she passed after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease on the morning of Thursday, June 15, 2017, surrounded by her family. Learetta filled her life with music and enjoyed many years singing in choirs and church groups. Her years spent in the women's choir, "We also sing" were some of her favorite. Learetta loved the many years that she worked for Jordan School District and the many relationships that she built there.
She is survived by her seven children; Amber (Kevin), James (Meghan), Blythe (McLean), Nathan (Ashley), Sam (Roxy), Roxane, Camillia (Thayne), seventeen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Also her mother (Janice), eldest brother (Drew), brother (Kevin), sister (Becky) and stepmother (Colleen). She now reunites with her father (DeLoy), sister (Peggy), and brothers (Ronnie and Randy) on the other side of the veil.
Viewing services will be held on the evening of Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary (8090 S. State St. Midvale, UT 84047)
Visitation and viewing will also take place prior to the funeral services on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 10-10:45am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Midvale East Stake Center (240 E. Greenwood Ave. Midvale, UT 84047). Funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Santaquin City Cemetery (100 E. 300 S. Santaquin, UT 84655)

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Learetta's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
