Mary €Œjo†Josephine Cornelison
Mary "Jo" Josephine Cornelison, 77, passed away September 19, 2017 in Sandy, Utah. She was born August 5, 1940 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado to Felix and Charlene N. Claudon Hillman. Married Harold A. Cornelison, Jr. on February 23, 1963 in Wheatridge, Colorado.
Survived by her husband, Harold; son, Jeff (Tammy), four grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, Zac and Kirstyn; and one great-grandchild, RJ; and a sister, Catherine Snyder, Roswell, NM. Preceded in death by daughter, Valerie Lynn McGee.
Jo enjoyed playing Bridge, bowling, going to friends luncheons, and she was a master quilter. She was a past queen of the Daughters of the Nile, and a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine. She volunteered in the sewing room at the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
