Mary Elizabeth (Ellis) Meyer

Mary Elizabeth Ellis Meyer, born July 05,1925 in Seymour,_ MO passed away peacefully in her home in Sandy, UT on November 03,2Ol7 at age 92. Her devoted husband, Paul and daughter, Susan were at her side. She was the daughter of Dave Stone Ellis and Mae Tish Chaffin Ellis of Mansfield, MO. She attended Mansfield (MO) High School, where she was high school queen, graduating !n 1943 to go on.to Drury. College. While in high school she met Paul W. Meyer, who would become the love of her life. He vowed the second time he ever saw her that he would do whatever it would take to make her his bride. Thus began a 75-year love affair. Elizabeth assisted Paul in several business ventures, working alongside her husband and raising their two daughters. She loved baking, bowled with Paul on a league, enjoyed movies, and was quite a songbird. Music filled their home. She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul Walter Meyer; daughters Tammy Ann Meyer Dingman and Susan Mae Meyer Muecke; grandchildren Amanda Leigh Griffin, Stephen, Paul. Son V, Marie Elizabeth Barney Poulter and Nolan Scott Bainey; great-grandchildren Tyson John Barney, Dominic Scott Barney, and Ivy Adaline Poulter.
