Mark Saben passed away on December 28th and was reunited with loved ones he dearly missed. Mark was a son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and dear friend that will be dearly missed by many.

Mark had many different jobs in his life but with a common theme, he worked with his hands. From Mark’s work with the Rio Grande Railroad in Colorado to working with Savage in California, the common theme was that Mark could fix anything broken. Even after he was unable to work full time, Mark liked wood working and leather working after he had to give up on his wood working. Lastly, he even tried his hand with building Lego’s shortly before he passed away as he really enjoyed building things.

Mark was very proud of being a father and grandpa. His biggest regret in life was not spending enough time with his son and grandkids but he made sure to let them know that he loved them dearly. Mark was planning on moving out to Colorado to be closer to his son and grandkids was looking forward to being close to them.

Mark had a big heart and help many people in his life. Everyone that knew him, knew that if they needed anything, Mark would do his best to help. Even in the last weeks of his life he was trying to help a young couple get back on their feet by letting them stay with him. Even after he passed, Mark was able to donate tissue to help those in need.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirly and sons, Jeremy, and Jason. He is survived by his son Nic and his wife Jess; grandkids Norah and Jack; sisters Margaret and Marie; many nephews and nieces and lastly “Ferondo My Brother”.
