Mark was born April 11, 1968, the youngest child of Buddy Charles and Darlene Gregory Conti. He was raised in Midvale, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1987. While in High school Mark excelled in auto mechanics where he worked on his 1973 El Camino. He continued his love of cars working to restore a 1972 Chevy pickup. He could be heard coming from miles away because of the enormous custom stereo system he designed and installed. But his pride and joy was his 1969 Corvette Stingray which his Father had left for him.
Mark had a unique bond with his mother Darlene and they shared many hours together at her home in Midvale. He had a love and talent for landscaping. As a teenager, Mark and his family worked to make their yard the best in the neighborhood. That talent continued to his current home in Sugarhouse. It was his dream to become a landscape architect, but life took him in other directions. Mark spent most of his career in the security/alarm system industry. He was basically self taught and could figure out nearly every problem he would come across.
Mark loved to stir the pot! Both in his love of cooking as well as stirring things up between people he knew. There was never a dull moment when Mark was around. You left us way too soon!
Mark is survived by his sister Lori Freeman (Keith), brother John Conti (Danelle) as well as nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and mother Buddy Charles and Darlene Gregory Conti.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15 at 12 Noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
