Marjorie Bond

Marjorie Wright Bond, a loving wife, mother grandmother, daughter and sister, left this life to join her loving husband, parents, and brothers.

Marjorie was born in the family home in Hoytsville, Utah to Walter Ole Wright and Hazel Matilda Sargent March 5, 1928. She was the only sister to her brothers, Jesse, Max, Gale, and Warren. She grew up in Hoytsville, where she rode horses, attended elementary school, and worked in the local lunch counter.  She later attended and graduated from North Summit High School.  Marjorie was sealed for time and eternity April 20, 1950 to Clint Lester Bond.

Marjorie was an excellent homemaker and prided herself on her yard and flowers.  She was an excellent cook and hosted many family dinners and shared her cooking skills with neighbors and friends.  She worked at the Summit County Courthouse, Kozy café, and Travelle Welcome center.  She was active in her community and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings.  Marjorie was a 50 plus year member of the Henefer Camp DUP and a Golden Gleaner.  She worked along side of her husband on the family farm and raising 4 children, Jeanette Bond, Carrie (Rod) Foust, Arvin (Suesanne) Bond, and Russell Bond.

Her children, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren survive Marjorie.  Her husband, parents, 4 brothers, and many close cousins precede her in death.

A family viewing will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the church in Hoytsville, Utah at 11:00 am.  A graveside service will follow at noon in the Hoytsville, Utah Cemetery. Burial will be in Hoytsville, Utah.
