Marilyn Bernice Colledge Morrill, age 74, was reunited with her loving husband on Feb. 3rd, 2021. She was born January 6th, 1947 in Pioche, Nevada to Ralph L. and Bernice Colledge. After graduation from American Fork High School, the family had to move due to the sudden death of her father. She was then raised in Fillmore by her step-mother, Daisy Lee Colledge, who was the best "Mama" to all her children. She taught them the importance of family togetherness.
She married David L. Reeves in the Salt Lake Temple on August 16th, 1968. From that union they had three children that she loved with all her heart. They later divorced. She then married the man of her dreams, Byron Morrill, on Sept. 29th, 1984. They shared a happy life together until his death on March 12, 2019.
Marilyn loved sewing and made a career of it working for Beehive Clothing until she retired. Being a hard and dedicated worker, she held several jobs at the same time throughout her life. She was also very talented at crocheting and made many things for her friends and family. She was an active member of the LDS church and proudly held many callings throughout her life. Marilyn also enjoyed a variety of sports. Some of her favorite teams included: BYU, the 49ers, and the Utah Jazz. You could hear her cheering them on loudly and enthusiastically all the way down the street.
Many people called her "Shorty" due to her small stature, but that all changed when she proudly became a great grandma. From then on she was known to most as "GG." Marilyn had a kind heart and a very generous spirit. She was never hesitant to provide a helping hand. She was beloved by all who had the pleasure to know her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children David Lavar Reeves (Danika), Kerrie Lee Ainsworth (Scott), Collette Bernice Higley (Craig); step-sons Rex Morrill (Daylene), Todd Morrill (Michelle), sister Cecilia Colledge, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and her loveable dog Abby. Preceded in death by her loving husband Byron, step-daughter Stacy Hart, siblings Linda Larsen, Ralph "Buster" Colledge, Teresa Hardy, Laurelee Colledge, and her parents Ralph L. Colledge, Bernice Beveridge Colledge, and Daisy Lee Colledge.
