Marilyn LeEora Kraus Inman passed away on Friday, March 15th, 2024 at the age of 87. She was born on May 30, 1936 in Bayard, Nebraska to David and Mary Kraus. After graduating high school, she married the love of her life Norman (Norm) Leroy Inman on July 8, 1955 in Julesburg, Colorado. As their family grew, she and Norm moved to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and then eventually settled in Taylorsville, Utah in the 1960's.
Marilyn loved to get together with her group of friends to play card games and bowl in a league every Thursday. She was a voracious reader, and especially loved a good mystery. After being a homemaker for many years, she discovered she had a gift for sales and enjoyed working in small retail stores. Marilyn and Norm were happily married for 44 years, until Norm's passing in 1999. One of Marilyn's greatest pleasures was spending hours on the backyard deck, enjoying the weather, feeding the birds, and watching the squirrels.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother James Kraus, husband Norman Inman, son Larry Inman (Pat), and son-in-law Terry Mower. She is survived by her brother Robert Kraus (Pat), sister Violet Richie, daughters Rhonda Mower (Terry) and Bergetta Smith (John), son Michael Inman (Sandy), 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
The family will be holding a private celebration of life.
