Our beloved mother and grandmother, Gaye Thompson, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2016.
She was born July 27, 1930 to Samuel Gilbert and Ardella Fern Lloyd Lancaster in West Jordan, Utah. She married her husband Val C. Thompson in El Paso, Texas, August of 1951. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS church. She was a talented crafter and artisan in many mediums.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Valorie (Greg) and Sallie (Dallas), 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Gib, and 1 great-granddaughter.
