Marilyn Corsetti

Marilyn Peart Corsetti, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away in Sandy, Utah on June 2nd, 2018 at the age of 84.

Marilyn was born September 22nd, 1933 to Mary B Orton and Albert Boulter Peart at their home in Draper, Utah. She was one of four children and the only daughter. She was a graduate of Jordan High School, worked at GE for many years, and was an accomplished pianist. Marilyn had many callings in the church, loved to knit and tat, and was passionate about genealogy identifying hundreds of names.

She married the love of her life Robert R. "Bob" Corsetti on June 4th, 1954 in Draper, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized June 4th, 1956 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Bob and Marilyn met at a dance at Dugway's N.C.O. Club while he was in the Navy. They both loved to dance and hit it off immediately. They lived in California while Bob attended school, then moved back to Sandy, Utah to raise a family.

Marilyn & Bob had four children, Robert Guy (Delynda) Corsetti of Farmington, Utah; Jolyn (Nick) Nicksic of Page, Arizona; Gina (Mick) Swapp of Page, Arizona; and Todd Alan (Amber) Corsetti of Pocatello, Idaho. Marilyn had 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Mary & Albert, her husband Bob, and her three brothers Byron, Merlin, and Arnold.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at the Mesa Park LDS Ward church located at 1970 E. Viscounti Dr. in Sandy, Utah. Viewing will be 9:00-10:30 am with the funeral at 11:00 am. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1700 E. in Sandy, Utah followed by lunch for close family and friends, provided by the Mesa Park Ward.
