Marilee passed away on January 21, 2017 in Riverton, Utah. She was born on May 7, 1943 to Keith and Marian Lloyd Nelson. Marilee was raised in Draper, where she loved family and friends. She went to Jordan High School, where she met Lyle and later married. They had two children, Troy & Tiffany. She owned and operated Plaza Hair Fashion in Murray for many years and loved the friendships she shared with her clients and co-workers. Marilee had a passion for artwork and loved oil painting. She loved spending time with family and friends at the cabin and fishing and boating at Flaming Gorge. She had a special love for her grandchildren, Casey, Keaton, Austin, Dylan and Remington. Only "Granny" and the boys will know what great times they had.

Survived by her children, Troy (Heidi) McDonald and Tiffany (Mark) McCleery; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Gayla Atkinson (Kevin Fisher) and Danis Mace (Eric Holmstrom); brother, Bruce (June) Nelson; brother-in-law, Paul Saldivar. Preceded in death by her husband, Lyle McDonald; parents, Keith and Marian Nelson; siblings, Nedra, Sandra and Scott; brothers-in-law, Glade and Sam, great-granddaughter, Mikelle McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
