Marie (Ree) Keate Chase

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 22, at 11:00 am at Goff Mortuary, located at 8090 So. State St. in Midvale, Utah. Survived by her children Greg Chase, Paige Chase, Toni Chase Soeffker (Tom Soeffker), Tracy Chase Howard (Michael Howard), Jinx Chase and Casey Chase Smith (Mark Smith), 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph W Chase, daughter Jeffri Chase Butters, brother Richard Keate, and sister Beverly Keate Burrows.

Marie was the embodiment of unconditional love. Anyone who knew her knew that she would give you her last dollar if it meant she could help. Marie lived a life surrounded by love from her brother to her 7 children and many grandchildren. Marie had a passion for singing, starting from her early years of doing commercials and singing with her husband's jazz band to singing around the home to her children. We will miss the amazing Christmas parties of love, singing and togetherness we felt in her home. Marie was an incredible woman and will be greatly missed.
