Marie Hooser

Marie Palmer Hooser, 87, passed away December 22, 2014 in Draper, Utah. She was born September 21, 1927 in West Jordan, Utah to David Raymond and Barbara Ann Cox Palmer. Married Merl W. Hooser on August 28, 1946 in West Jordan, Utah.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many capacities.

Survived by husband, Merl; children, Nancy (Ron) Neil, Jay (Marjean), Don (Patty), Merl (Kelly), Scott (Karren), daughter-in-law, Bonnie; 58 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clyde (Joyce) Palmer. Preceded by a son, Dayton and grandson Shawn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. at the Oquirrh 1st Ward, 12830 South 2700 West, Riverton, where there will be a viewing from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
