Marian Johnson

Marian Johnson, 73, loving mother, grandma, "mimi", sister and aunt passed away on April 22, 2021.  She was born on April 26, 1947 in Salt Lake City to Myron and Ann Petrlich Brand.  She grew up in Midvale, Utah and was a lifelong resident of Sandy.  She graduated from St. Mary's of the Wasatch in 1966.

Marian worked in banking for many years.  She later retired from Salt Lake Community College where she offered guidance to countless students through the financial aid process.

Survived by daughter, Michelle; grandchildren, Jeffery (Morgan), Travis, and Haley, four great grandchildren; sister, Annette (Daniel), and many nieces and nephews, who are "all her favorites."

The family expresses their special thanks to the nurses who cared for her in the Intermountain Medical Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 9737 South 1700 East in Sandy. Holy Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 27th  at 7:00 p.m. in the church. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday and Wednesday.
