Margy May Oliver

Margy May Wilkinson Oliver of Sandy, Utah passed away at her home in Sandy, November 21, 2018.

Margy was born in Murray, Utah to Melvin and Ruth Wilkinson on October 21, 1930. She married Reed Carlisle Oliver on December 8, 1948. Reed passed away October 21, 1998. Margy lived in Butlerville and then in Sandy for 64 years.

Mom enjoyed her 2 children, 9 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. She loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a devoted friend to many. She always sent everyone who came to visit home with a treat, plant, or surprise. She is survived by her two children Sharon (Scott) King, Murray, Randy (Trudy) Oliver, Midvale, 9 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Reed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Midvalley 6th Ward Chapel, 1106 East 8050 South, Sandy. Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday evening from 6-8 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale and at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Sandy City Cemetery.
