Margie Curtis Bain left this world on June 30, 2020 surrounded by her son and daughter. Margie was born June 17, 1950 in Nephi, Utah. She was raised in Fountain Green, Utah and would frequent the yearly Lamb Days celebration. She married Stephen Daniel Bain on December 27, 1969 in the Manti Temple. They were married for 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Corylyn (Vince) Ybarra, son, Eugene Bain, three grandchildren Austin (Julia) Pinkham, Cole Manzanares, and Marisa (Seth) Williams. She was also blessed with seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Bain and parents.
More than anything in life, Margie loved her family, both immediate and extended; she leaves behind her 5 caring brothers and their beautiful families. Because of her kind and generous nature she had many friends that she also cherished. Her family is taking comfort in the happy reunions she is having with her loved ones on the other side.
She loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Kearns 8th ward family where she had many different callings over the years; many involved her talent of playing the piano. She spent the majority of her career caring for children in various capacities and the last several years working for the Salt Lake Community Action Program.
Due to the pandemic we will only be holding a graveside service on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the West Jordan Cemetery located at 7800 S 1300 W as well as a live stream on her daughters Facebook account. For those that are attending please wear a mask and remember to social distance as best we can.
The family would like to thank Jordan Valley Hospital, Promise Hospital and most of all LDS Hospital for caring for our loved one.
