Marcia Mower Tucker, 86, passed away on April 15, 2017 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born on February 3, 1931 in Manti, Utah to Fred and Maurine Mower. Marcia married Ralph L. Tucker on September 22, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many callings. She loved everyone unconditionally and was very giving with her time and talents. Her family was the center of her life. She was a wonderful cook and kept a beautiful home.
Following her retirement from Unisys, she and Ralph were snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona and spent many summers on Fairview Mountain with family and friends.
Survived by her children, Shanna (Dave) Limberg and Perry (Jana) Tucker; 12 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; siblings, Morris (Sharlene) Mower, Clair Mower, Judy (Tom) Liggett, Sherry (Marlin) Christensen and Jed (Cindy) Mower; sisters-in law, Beverly and Kathy Mower.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph; daughters, Shawna Anderson and Pat Rugg; grandson, Joey Tucker; great grandson, Max Evans; great great granddaughter, Kira Shriver; brothers, Galen, Dennis, Larry (Oleah), Roger Mower; infant sister; sister-in-law, Jeanie.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. Viewings will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment, Fairview Cemetery.
