Emma Lynne Brownson O'Larey "Lynne", was born February 20, 1939 to Emma Hatch and James Milton Brownson I in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lynne was the oldest of 8 children, Myra Brownson Girty (Deceased), James M. Brownson Jr. (Raylene), TJ (Diane), Sharon (Rick), Gary (Kandace), Cynthia Brown Clay (Curtis, Deceased), Franklin Brownson.
Lynne grew up in the area surrounding Cuba, New Mexico. Her parents purchased an Indian Trading Post in Torreon, New Mexico after WWII. She graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1957.
She married and had 3 daughters, Diana Lynne Manseau (Robert, Deceased), Kathy Rene Cushman, Veronica Rae Cushman.
In 1969 she was inspired to move to Salt Lake City, Utah where she attended the U of U and received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Health with a Teaching Certificate.
In 1980 she married Stanley E. O'Larey. They had a daughter, Lynnelle Ann O'Larey Allred (Ondi). Stan preceded her in death in 2013. Lynne loved her large blended family of 8 daughters and 2 sons. Together they have 10 children, 40 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Twenty years ago she fulfilled her professional dream to open a health food store. She imported over 300 essential oils under her own company, Garden Essence. She blessed many people's lives with her knowledge of Natural Healing.
She was a long time member of her church. She loved and supported her community. In Lynne's final blessing, she was told she had completed the mission she was sent here to do, that God is awaiting her return home with open arms.
Mother passed away October 3, 2019, sweetly, calmly and pain free with all 4 of her daughters caring for her. She enjoyed being able to visit with many members of her family, friends and community during her last days.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Rocky Ridge Church. Interment will be at Rocky Ridge Cemetery with pallbearers, James Ronald Colyar, Bradley James Allred, Ondi Allred, Kenneth Manseau, Richard Manseau, James Manseau, Mike Manseau.
