At the break of day, December 10, 2019, while under the constant care of his doctors, nurses and caregivers, Lynn let go of mortality and embraced the heavenly invitation of his mom, dad and sister to join them in heaven.
Lynn was loved by all and will be remembered for many attributes. He was, by far, the BEST can collector in Rose Park. He loved his Coca-Cola and sodas. He had many friends at Columbus School and really enjoyed all projects and activities they provided for him. He especially enjoyed working at Kentucky Fried Chicken, plus he liked the chicken too. The whole family will always remember his long walks and bike rides. All the neighbors knew him and watched for his safety. Many things made him happy, simple things like a beautiful day, or his first mailbox key, getting a magazine in the mail, or his first crush on a girl named Tammy.
Lynn was born on March 28, 1953 to Lee and Carma Jacobsen. Survived by his brother, Glenn and Elaine Jacobsen and their kids, Dwayne, Lori and Craig; his nephew, Dale DeVaul and his sons, Bruce, Brett and Joshua; his brother-in-law, Doug Williamson; step-nephew, Roland and Dawn Austin and their kids, Chris, Amber, Elizabeth, Jada and Dallas; Tonya's kids, Zac, Shelby and Mckenzie. Preceded in death by his mom, dad, sister, Lois, niece Tonya Starks and nephew, Allen DeVaul.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, Utah.
