Lynae Hunter (Lois)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of our precious Lynae Hunter. Peace and comfort come knowing she was reunited with open arms by her beloved father (Douglas Hunter) and multiple family members eager to greet her.

Born April 19, 1971 in Murray, Utah to Douglas and Loretta Hunter. Lynae grew up in Draper, Utah and attended Jordan Valley and South Valley.

Everything in life was “OK” for Nae, always responding “I be fine.” She enjoyed spending time with her family at their family cabin, which included riding 3 and 4-wheelers, playing board games and eating good food. She loved the Wizard of Oz, The Golden Girls, Wheel of Fortune, the Hallmark Channel, and Dancing with the Stars. She also loved country music and all Christmas music, but most important, she had to have her hanger.

Nae made everyone feel special. She loved her siblings, all her nieces and nephews, as well as her great nieces and nephews. When you came to visit you were always greeted with an “Ohhhh helllllloooo!” and a great big smile. She had a very special relationship with her niece Jenni. Jenni always dolled Nae up by doing her hair and nails.

Lynae was preceded in death by her father Douglas Hunter, nephew Bryce Hunter, Grandpa and Grandma Witt, Grandpa and Grandma Hunter, Uncle Wesley Witt, Aunt Loreen Crane, Uncle Lynn Hunter and cousin Todd Hunter.

Lynae is survived by her mother Loretta Hunter, siblings Lorrie (David) Engstrom, Gavin Hunter, Bradley Hunter, 9 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews. Nae will be terribly missed by all of us left behind.

There will be a viewing Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2 at 11 am at the Draper 7th Ward, 12353 South 600 East, Draper, with a viewing from 10-10:45 am at the church. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
