Lydie B Murray passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 79 due to outstanding injuries sustained from falling a year ago.
Preceded in death by mother Florence Myrtle Turner, father Willard Baxter Murray, step father Levi Allen Gayler, brothers David Walter Murray, Roger Lee Gayler.
Survived by D'Ann Gayler McReavy (Russell), Letha May Gayler Cross (Edward Carl), assorted neices and nephews.
Lydie was born to father and mother, she grew up in South Salt Lake City UT.
She also lived in Logan, Utah, to help take care of her grandmother after her grandfather passed away.
Lydie worked for LeVoy's Clothing as a seamstress, and later Abbott Medical. She had a good work ethic and was very dependable. After she retired from Abbott she really started enjoying life and became a traveler, going to Hawaii, Nauvoo, IL, Texas, on a cruise and many other places.
Lydie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served at the Jordan River Temple as a greeter for about 5 years. She was very active in the church and held several callings.
She loved children and loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews. She loved taking them to see movies at the Avalon Theatre and having sleepovers at her house.
Lydie never married or had her own children so she always cherished the time she spent with kids and her family and friends.
She also liked to spend a lot of time with her cousin Doug and his wife Sylvia Wright.
She loved her family very much.
Lydie liked to go to the Harman's senior citizen's center and was sad when she couldn't because of the Covid restrictions.
She was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and all kinds of dolls.

A viewing will be held Sunday night, Aug. 29, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary at 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, UT.
A graveside service only will be held Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 at 12 noon at the Wellsville Cemetery, 400 North 200 East, Wellsville, UT (Cache County).
