"LuLu"
Our hearts are filled with great sadness. Our dearest mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Lulu was born on Sept. 3, 1936 in Highland Boy, Utah, the youngest of 14 children by Mary Niksich and Matt Pazell. She was spoiled to the core according to her. She was raised in Highland Boy, the daughter of a miner. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1954. She later married William M. Markus in 1954. Together they had 6 boys. They divorced in 1978. She met her loving companion Doyle (Bud) Jones in 1979. They shared their lives together until his passing in 2000. She worked at Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing Company for 27 years prior to her retirement in 1998. She was a devoted, loving mother. Her boys were her pride and joy. She said they were her greatest accomplishment. Mom loved to cook and her favorite thing was the many get-togethers with family and friends. She was a great friend, an example to many, and loved by all who met her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her boys: David (Marci), Draper; Guy (Anna), W.J.; Donald (Julie), W.J.; Matt (Danette), W.J.; Kent (Jodi), Kearns; Brent (Annie), W.J.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, her sister Elma Sims, Roy, UT, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by grandson Taylor J. Markus, Bud Jones, 5 brothers, 7 sisters and her parents.
We would like to say thank you to our loving and caring Millcreek Home Health and Hospice Family - Lisa, Tammy, Chad, Theresa, and Hillary. Words cannot express our gratitude for the love and care you showed her. She truly adored each of you and enjoyed the visits.
