Louie Scalise Mascaro

Louie passed away quietly on May 19, 2015 surrounded by his family. Louie was born July 26, 1962 in Midvale, Utah, son of Charles and Concetta Mascaro.

Preceded in death by his dad. Survivors: mother; brothers, Joe, Mario (Patti), Pete, Milio (Debbie); nephews, Ben, Joey, Ryan and Michael; nieces, Natalie, Jenny, Julia and April; several great nephews and nieces; and Louie's long-time friends, Frank and Sue Dudenhoffer and Bruce Begeman.

Graduated Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah. Louie was in the restaurant industry in California and continued in Utah. Louie was an avid chef and really loved the culinary arts. Louie had a "big heart" with everyone.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest donations to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St., Midvale, with a viewing at the church one hour prior to services. There will also be a viewing Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
