Louie Annalee Holyoak Greenhalgh, 90, of Midvale, Ut finally got her wish after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and returned home to her Father in Heaven on December 1, 2019.

Born in Moab, Utah to Richard LeRoy Holyoak and Sarah Victoria Schofield on June 7, 1929, Louie was the 4th of 8 children.

Louie served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States Mission, 1951-1952.

A new seminary teacher in town caught her eye and on her birthday, June 7, 1955, she married Leo Glade Greenhalgh in the Manti, Utah temple.

Together they raised a family of 5 boys and 1 girl: Steven Mark, Burbank, CA, Phillip Owen (Janice), Brigham City, UT, Richard LaMar (Liz), West Jordan, UT, Linden Kay, (Kara), Tooele, UT, Vernon Scott (Cydney), Sandy, UT, and Annetta Louise Geyer (Ed), Moore, TX.

Blessed with 18 grandchildren and 19 more who call her great-grandma.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Lucille Mecham, Rosalie Cooper, Vera Dunford, Richard, Letha McPhee, Helen Langston. Survived by husband Glade and sister Vilate Farnsworth.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Hillcrest 2nd Ward, 8735 S Harvard Park Dr, Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-10:45 at the church and Friday, December 6 from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S State St, Midvale, Ut.
