Lola Faye Lloyd Carling

Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and friend returned home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 15^th, 2024.

Faye was born on June 30^th, 1936 to parents, Delmar Lloyd and Zelda Bills Lloyd. She was the oldest of three daughters.

She graduated from Jordan High School in 1954 and always remained a Beetdigger. She was proud to have belonged to the Charlonian Pep Club and Speech Club.

She married Blaine Astle Carling in the Salt Lake Temple on September 18^th, 1972. They were blessed with a baby girl in 1977.

Faye was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society President, Secretary of the Stake Presidency, Stake Patriarch Scribe and Music Director. She was also active in the civic community as an election judge.

Survived by her daughter Camille Bowers; children Jon (Megan) Carling, Steve (Jen) Carling, and Cara (Allen) Collier; two sisters Loraine (Ron, deceased) LeFevre and Carolyn (Scott) Katsilas; grandchildren Lucretia, Seth, Lea, Syerra, Jerykka and many more; great grandchildren Jerusha; and more.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31^st at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church Building, 240 East Greenwood Cr. (7570 South), Midvale. Friends are invited to greet the family during the viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 AM also at the church. Interment to follow services at the Crescent Cemetery, 11105 S. State Street, Sandy.
