Lois Webster

Lois Wood Webster passed away on May 30, 2018 in Payson Utah.  She was born on January 22, 1937 in Murray, Utah to James Harvey and Alice Parker Wood.  She was raised on a farm in the Bennion area and loved riding horses when she was a child.  She married Jerry Lawrence Webster on May 27, 1955.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Lois worked for the Jordan School District in the school lunch program for over 20 years.  She made quilts for many family members.  Her cooking and baking for holidays and family gatherings were always treats to look forward to.  She loved going on trips with her sweetheart Jerry and together they traveled the world.  She enjoyed taking those memories and turning them into scrapbooks for all to look through.  She loved to play golf and spent many happy hours with friends and family on the golf course.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many callings including Relief Society President, Primary President, Young Women's President, a teacher in all the organizations and a faithful Visiting Teacher.  Lois and Jerry Served as Member Locator Missionaries when they lived in St George from 2002-2004.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.  You never left her house hungry and as soon as you walked in the door she would say "Sit down, have a Diet Coke and let's gab!"

She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses Randy and RaNel Webster, Payson, Utah, Lewis and Connie May, Clinton, Utah, Russell and Christi Okerlund, Monroe, Utah, Jim and Wendy Webster, Boise, Idaho, 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.  Brother Frank and Sheila Wood, Sisters in law Norma Gehring Wood, Dorothy Webster, Mary Webster, Donna Jones, Brother and Sister in law Lee and Jeanette Webster.  Preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her parents, her brother Glen Wood and Sister Delores Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday June 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, Utah where friends may visit with the family from 5:30-6:45 prior to the Funeral Service.  Interment will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Gardens, 6500 S. Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah.
