Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away January 16, 2019 in Sandy, Utah. She was 93. Lois Jean was born September 4, 1925 to Gilbert L. Fjeldsted and E. Ruby Roylance in Centerfield, Utah. She graduated from Gunnison High School and attended LDS Business College. She married George A. Richards January 14, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. They were blessed with 8 children, Claudia (Roger Keddington), Phillip (Karen), Conway (Annette), CeCille (Anthony Hall), Thomas (Linda), David (Tammy), John (Amber), Connie Berrett. She had 24 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. George passed away June 18, 1990. She later married Willard (Bill) Mounteer. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in all of the Auxiliary organizations blessing the lives of others. She served a Family History mission in the Michigan Detroit Mission 1996-98. She left us a great legacy of service to the Church, her neighborhood and her family. She lived most of her adult life in Sandy, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, a sister Marion (James Peterson), and a granddaughter Louise Richards. She is survived by her children and a sister GilBerta (Lynn Hendrickson).

The family would like to express gratitude to the kind people at Cedarwood Senior Living who lovingly cared for her in her last years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Mount Jordan 1st Ward LDS Church (8950 South 400 East, Sandy). Services will begin at 12:00 noon with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to services. Burial will be in the Sandy City Cemetery.
