Lois Steadman Burningham

Lois Wood Steadman Burningham, 86, died October 26, 2016 of natural causes. She was born January 7, 1930 to Collin H. and Ora Calderwood Wood. Lois was a wonderful person, mother, grandmother and friend. She married Kelvin F. Steadman on September 19, 1948. They had four children: Kent (Peggy), Karen (Mark), Karl (Janet), and LeAnn. She has 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Kel passed away November 14, 1982. She married Richard Burningham March 9, 2002. He was a great blessing in her life.

She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. She worked as a nutrition manager for Jordan School District and had many friends and associates. Preceded in death by her first husband, Kel, and daughter, Karen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, at 11:30 a.m. at the Crescent 30th Ward, 89 East 11000 South in Sandy, where there will be a viewing Saturday from 10-11:15 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
