Linda passed away on August 2, 2019 at home surrounded by her family, after a long hard battle with pancreatic cancer. She fought hard all the way to the end.
She was born on May 7, 1947 to Ervin Eugene and Elaine Orgill Newton in Payson, UT. She was the oldest of five children. She graduated from Juab High School in 1965.
She was later married to Ralph Howard Lange on June 25, 1966. She had three amazing kids and three wonderful grandkids she adored and loved, family was her life!!!
She loved taking care of her yard that always looked amazing. Even in the last several weeks she was out pruning, weeding, and spraying for pests to make sure her yard was always flawless. Some of her favorite things to do were camping, go on four-wheeler rides and boating with family and friends. Linda was always the life of the party. She had a love for gambling and teaching her kids and grandkids "how to bring home the money," but most of all, to have a good time and always enjoy who they were with.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Howard Lange of 53 years, children Wade (Susan) Lange, Troy (Ronda) Lange, Brandy Lange all of Nephi, and her grandchildren Zachary Craig Lange, Wyatt Aaron Lange of Nephi, UT and Jesse Wagstaff of Delta, UT, her mother Elaine Orgill Newton, sister Lesa (Skip) Westfall of Nephi, brothers Ernie (Jewel) Newton, Clint Newton of Santaquin, and Mike (Jackie) Newton of Goshen. Preceded in death by her father Ervin Eugene Newton, Howard and Floretta Lange (in-laws), and sister-in-law Carolee Newton.
Our family extends a special thanks to Mt. Pleasant Hospice, Ann Woolslayer and Tami Richards for their special love and care, and to the many friends and family who visited on a regular basis.
