Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Linda Hyatt Julio, passed away peacefully and in the presence of her loving family at the age of 77 on January 18, 2021. She was born in Salt Lake City to Glen Hyatt and Hazeldene Poulsen Hyatt Bell on June 17, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Linda attended Jordan High School and Brigham Young University. She enjoyed a rewarding career as a registered nurse and helped many with her skill and compassion.
Linda was a remarkable woman. It is simply impossible to adequately describe her character with words. She was a loving, nurturing, and patient mother who shaped her children into successful adults, despite their best efforts to lose their way. She was a devoted friend who loved to laugh and spend time with others. She was a pillar of strength when needed and always a source of laughter and joy. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, making scrubbies, quilting, scrapbooking, travel, and hosting large numbers of guests to her small kitchen for meals. She influenced all who knew her for the best. Linda will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.
Linda is survived by three brothers, Randy, Dwight (Maggie), Don (Karen), one sister, Claudia (Steve), her six children, Danalyn (Arlyn), Daniel (Rachel), Brandon (Haydn), Deidra, Gavin (Kirtley), and Derek (Melissa), six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Maryann.
Per Linda's wishes, a memorial service and celebration of life will be held when the weather warms and when we are once again able to gather together.
