Lester Howard Nickel

Lester Howard Nickel, at age 76, passed through this earthly journey on December 13, 2024 after a long 4 year battle of health issues that stemmed from a motorcycle accident.

He had a passion for riding and playing golf. Les was a man that was very multifaceted. He was an extraordinary drawer and painter. He loved photography and videography.

He served in the Navy from 1968-1970 and went on to marry the love of his life Myra Jo Petrlich of 43 years. Preceding in death by Myra. He spent many years as Myra’s caretaker as she battled MS. In Les's last years he adopted his dog Mojo who became a great light in his life and he enjoyed having someone to care for again. He loved his dog mojo so much.

Les made an impact in many people's lives and will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

As per Lester’s request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring with a last motorcycle ride for him.
