With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, Lesa Molyneaux Hyde, 51, of Springville, Utah. She was a woman of boundless love, kindness, and generosity, always putting others before herself and brightening the lives of everyone she met. Above all else, she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchild.
Born on November 11, 1973, in Payson, Utah, to Clark Lee Molyneaux and Cleo Beth Simmons Molyneaux, Lesa grew up in the close-knit community of Mona alongside her seven older siblings. Known for her warmth, giving heart, and impressive collection of Christmas decorations, she brought joy to all who knew her. Her love for her family was limitless, and she took immense pride in watching her children grow.
One of the happiest moments of her life came shortly before her passing when she became a grandmother for the first time. Though she is no longer here to watch her grandson grow, we take comfort in knowing how deeply she loved him and that she will always be his guardian angel. Lesa’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her son, Brennan (Alyson) Cronquist; daughter, Brecia Cronquist; her cherished grandson; husband, Shane Hyde; siblings Debbie (Curt) Adams, Randy (Sarah) Molyneaux, Ronda (Gordon) Jarrett, Scott (Melanie) Molyneaux, and Jill (Greg) Loader; sister-in-law, Cindy Molyneaux; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bandit. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clark Lee Molyneaux and Cleo Beth Simmons Molyneaux, and her brothers, Steven C. Molyneaux and Jack W. Molyneaux.
A public visitation period will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 10:00-11:15 AM at "The Old Mona Church," 65 East 100 North, Mona, Utah. A private ceremony will be held that same day. Interment will take place at the Mona Cemetery.
Condolences may be sent to Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary. Alternatively, donations may be made to two causes important to the family: organizations that promote awareness of and prevent domestic violence, and those that support individuals with Down Syndrome.
Mom, your love will always be our guiding light. We thank you for every hug, laugh, smile, and moment of love you shared with us. Though our hearts are shattered, we will carry your love and spirit with us every day.
