Les Clawson

A. Leslie Clawson was born in Long Beach, CA, February 29, 1944 to Charles and Zinda Clawson. He passed away laying next to his wife Barbra on May 22, 2016.

Les grew up in Taylorsville and Holladay and worked in both public and private law enforcement. He joined the Navy in 1961 and served in Vietnam. Les loved to hunt and fish.

In early 1987 Les met the former Barbra Evans at the Poop Deck and they were married later that year. Over the past 30 years, they had a lot of fun together, traveling and enjoying the world.

Les is survived by his wife Barbra and his beloved stepsons Richard, Mathew, and Michael; daughters-in-law Audrey and Jodi; two grandsons Tanner and Asher.

Special thanks to the gang at Sunrise Hospice and a big thanks to Merlinda who became family, and to Veterans Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 27, at 12 Noon at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi. There will be a viewing Friday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale.
