LeRoy "Pat" Valenzuela, 43, passed away on Monday May 5, 2014. He was the BEST father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be sorely missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know him during his short life. LeRoy was born September 26, 1970 in Payson, Utah to LeRoy Valenzuela and Dolores Serrano. He graduated from Payson High School in 1988. He married Marcie Yvonne Hastings in June of 1993, they later divorced but remained the greatest of friends. From this union came his pride and joy and bragging rights, Aaliyah ReAnne "Baby Girl" and Aaryn Malik "Cabron" Valenzuela. He later adopted into his heart a little girl, Lexus Ryan "Lexi Lue" Valenzuela. LeRoy travelled all over the state to support his kids and almost never missed their ball games. The echo's of his whistles, "Atta Kids", and Donkey noises will forever be heard in ball parks across the state. LeRoy always talked about and enjoyed BBQ's, camping, hunting and fishing trips with his family. He gave everyone a nickname that will stay with them forever and was the best Big Brother and Role Model anyone could ask for. He never forgot a face, name, or a story told. He treated everyone with respect and would give the shirt off of his own back for someone he didn't know. He will forever be remembered for the funny faces he would pull, his ability to make people laugh, harassment of those he loved, his coaching and ball playing, and for his love of the great outdoors. "Dad, Pat, LeRoy", you were taken to soon. We had so many fishing trips yet to take so to us you are not gone, you're just gone fishing!
