Lawrence Lee Hardenbrook, born March 23, 1943 in Laredo, TX, passed at his home in Midvale, Utah on April 27, 2018 at the age of 75.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Walker Hardenbrook, his brother Charles, and his children Jeff (Julia), Amy (Dale), Ryan (Julie), Spencer (Lauren), and Brett (Jessica), 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was an active and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who loved the Lord. Married Barbara Lea Walker on Nov. 28, 1997 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was solemnized June 10, 2000, in the Jordan River LDS Temple.

He was also a member of the Wasatch Gem Society, R.O.C.K., life member and Post Surgeon of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, South Valley Post 9803. He retired as a U.S. Army Sgt. First Class and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He had a deep love for his family that was apparent through his many acts of service and patient care he provided them and was an example of Christian charity and love. He will be profoundly missed by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Vera Hardenbrook.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, at 11 a.m. at the Midvale 6th Ward, 8171 S. Jackson St., Midvale. There will be a viewing Thursday 6-8 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Midvale, and again Friday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
