On June 14, 2017, our dear Mother was reunited with the love of her life, Big Rog. Her children are comforted in knowing they will dance for Eternity.

She was born on October 26, 1937, the oldest of seven children, to Evan and Marjorie Mickelsen in Redmond, Utah. She married her sweetheart, Roger Peterson on September 24, 1954 and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on December 19, 1963.

Mom served at the Jordan River Temple and other callings in the LDS Church, also served in the community.

Her greatest love was cleaning, quilting, cooking, fishing, sewing and had a love for horses. Her greatest joy was spending time with her 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Survived by her children, Jackie Davenport (Mike) of Neola, Kerry Peterson (Debbie) of Riverton, Randy Peterson (Shari) of Bluffdale, Sharece Watts (Patrick) of Sandy. Preceded in death by her husband, Roger Peterson, of 40 years and her father, mother, brother and nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Redmond Cemetery, Redmond, Utah. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday morning at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah.
