Larry passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2015.
He was born on July 18, 1956 to William (Bill) Bogden and Marilyn Sharp Bogden. He was raised in Midvale, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest High in 1974. Later, he attended the University of Utah where he studied Electrical Engineering.
Larry was a gentle man with a kind heart. He enjoyed simple pleasures such as the beauty of the mountains, a good history show, or seeing the wonders of the universe at the Clark Planetarium. As a young man, he enjoyed traveling around the country enjoying nature's beauty on his motorcycle, and spending time with friends. He worked for Kennecott Copper and later for the Union Pacific Railroad, which took him on many adventures across the country. Larry lived in several different cities due to his work; he eventually retired back to Utah, where he passed away.
He is survived by his brothers Ronnie (Teri) Bogden, Gary (Anna) Bogden, Jim (Georgia) Bogden; his sister Lisa (Layne) Statner and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wendell Bogden.
Private family services will be held.
