Larry W. Blackard

Our loving, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Larry W. Blackard passed away on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 in Taylorsville. Born February 19th, 1961 to Bill Wayne Blackard and Carol Elaine Gillman in Billings, Montana. Larry was one of the most hardworking people we all knew. He loved the outdoors, going fast and spending time with his family. His dirty jokes and grease stained hands always brought smiles to our faces. Larry accepted anyone his family loved without blinking an eye. He was an excellent mechanic and passed those great skills on to his children. This man will be dearly missed by all that knew him and never forgotten. Survived by his four children: Brad, Kelly, Tyler and Cori Blackard; 10 grandchildren, girlfriend Jamie Anderson; married, later divorced Carol Maxwell, mother Carol Gillman, brother Michael, sisters: Denise, Betty, Leah, Barbara, Cindy and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Blackard. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1 PM at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 So. 1300 W. A visitation will be from 11-12:30 prior at the Aspen Funeral Home, 459 W. Universal Circle, (9160 So.) Please feel free to leave a memory and condolence here, thank you.
