Larene Serdar

LaRene passed away Feb. 6th, 2021. She and her twin sister Lorraine were born Nov. 17th, 1929 to Claude and Virginia Mounteer in Salt Lake City, UT.

Married Charles Serdar Aug. 11, 1959 and were married 52 years when Chuck died in 2003.

She was an artist. She oil painted, made drawings and ceramics, and left all of us with many of her paintings and treasured pieces.

Mom was always a classy lady, never left home without being dressed up and accessorized perfectly. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a great mom, wife, sister, grandma and friend.

She is survived by her daughter Rae Ann Dickerson (Rick), son Marc Serdar (Sheryl), grandkids Chance (Stephanie), Chase (Karina) Morgan, Kasey and Charlie Serdar, great-grandkids Wayne, Cache and Will, siblings Jay Mounteer (Bonnie) and Cherri Parhduhn, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Chuck, parents, siblings Lorraine Tischner, Richard Mounteer, Ruth Spuler, and great-grandson Daniel Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, at 12 Noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
