Kirk Norman Doman

Our loving husband, Dad and friend passed away on November 12, 2018 of natural causes.

Kirk Norman Doman was born October 11, 1955 to Norman and Geraldeen Doman in SLC, UT.

He loved both of his siblings, Mark (Bev) and Dana (John) and their families.

He graduated from Hillcrest High School and shortly after enlisted in the Navy. In the Navy he became best friends with Mike Ponikvar. Eventually, Mike introduced Kirk to one of his sisters. Kirk and Mary Ann fell madly in love and have been married for 40 years. They welcomed to this world a son Kyle (Hilary) and a daughter Karri on the same day one year apart.

Kirk was a very hard worker for Kennecott and then Chevron where he retired at age 55.

He retired at an early age to help raise his grandson Kyle who called him Dad. He also enjoyed his retirement years driving his Mustang and riding his motorcycles. He cherished his time spent at his dream cabin with his family and friends. He had two grandkids Kyle and Kailyn who were his joy. Kirk had a huge heart and loved giving and helping everyone. He loved and will be missed by his Ohio family.

He is preceded in death by his grandson Hunter, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and best friend Kelly Thomas.

In honoring Kirk's wishes, his family will hold a private ceremony.
