Kim Vest Wilkerson

Kim Vest Wilkerson honorably finished his earthly test and returned to his loving Father in Heaven surrounded by his family. He was born on November 19, 1975, to Susan Vest Wilkerson and Dale Cook Wilkerson. He was born and raised in Mona, Utah. He graduated from Juab High School in 1994. He Married Rachel Tidwell and later divorced. They were the parents of K.C. Kim Wilkerson and Kalista Wilkerson.

He spent 21 years working for Hydro in Spanish Fork, Utah. Kim held the office of an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He recently received his temple endowments in the Payson, Utah Temple. Kim Valiantly fought esophageal cancer for four years. During these four years, Kim was given many tests and trials. Through those tests and trials, our Father in Heaven prepared him to return home. It was through his relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ that Kim accomplished each of those tests and trials. He faced them with faith and a smile on his face. Kim's greatest joy in life was his children and he loved them fiercely. He loved spending time outdoors with his family. He enjoyed many family camping trips. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a loyal Raiders fan and enjoyed watching them win this past Sunday. He also enjoyed movies, reading, and music. He was a great example of love, service, and hard work.

Kim is survived by his children K.C. Wilkerson of Mona, Kalista Wilkerson of Mona, Mother Susan Wilkerson of Mona, Father Dale Wilkerson of St. George, Brother Josh (April) Wilkerson, Sister Krista (Jason) Steiner, and Sister LeAnna (Mike) Wilson, 6 nephews, and 6 nieces. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Marc and Myrtle Vest and Woodford and Renon Wilkerson, Brother Kelly Wilkerson, and Nephew Landon Wilkerson.

Kim's family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Gary Garner, Holly Carter, Kristy James, Dr. Chad Kawa, Dr. Gilbert Schorlemmer, and the Young Men of the Mona 3rd Ward.
