Kevin Wallace Myers was born on August 30, 1955 to his parents Van J Myers and the late Lora Wallace in Panguitch, Utah. He passed away on August 19, 2015 in his home. Kevin was an Eagle Scout and attended Hillcrest High in his youth where he excelled and loved cross country, photography, DJ'ing and scuba diving. After graduating, he was called and served a LDS mission to the Minnesota-Wisconsin Mission where it was so cold he had to break the ice off the toilets in the morning, which he mentioned every time he was asked about his experience.
He married Sydnee Ann Porter in 1980, later divorced and was the father of four children. He spent most of his working years as a talented welder who worked with decorative rod iron, making gates, staircases and railings. He was a master craftsman and could fix anything "the right way." He loved working with his hands and took great pride in his work. He was a knowledgeable mechanic and could work magic on cars; even the ones that would be considered scrap metal by any other means. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, bee keeping, camping, fishing, hunting and was an excellent cook. We will miss his homemade custard, smoked turkey and sourdough pancakes the most. Kevin was always willing to help friends and family whenever they were in need of his expertise.
Kevin is survived by his father, Van J Myers; sisters, Wyla and Jillyn (Don); brother, Rex (Julie); children, JaNean (Kenny), Heather, Danielle (John) and Tyler; three grandchildren.
