Kevin Jon Ellis

Kevin Jon Ellis, age 63, passed away on July 14, 2019, to be reunited with his beloved Kristin. Born August 29, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Burnell W. Ellis and Shirley Worden Ellis. Kevin married his soulmate Kristin Elder, on July 18, 1998 in the beautiful Teton National Forest.

Kevin worked as the lead estimator for Solid Drywall for over 10 years. Kevin's big personality and wonderful sense of humor were what the Solid team looked forward to most, his love for laughter and the gift of pushing the "limit" on jokes was what most of our vendors would look forward to when they would stop by to check on job status.

We would always love to hear stories about his and Kristin's adventures of fishing, camping, clay shooting (he was a regional champion), deer hunting, bartending and soccer. For years we would get Merry Christmas wishes from Kevin's dogs, which was always so great to see. Kevin was a man of few words, he leaves a trade mark of his amazing bear hugs, that will forever be missed. Kevin was a great Son, Brother and Friend and a defender of integrity. Kevin always took pride in everything he did. He was the most reliable friend who took loyalty to the next level.

Kevin enriched all of our lives and will be greatly missed by Shelley (sister) and John Parks (brother-in-law), all of the Sanchez Family, childhood/adult friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his soulmate Kris, Mom, Dad and his many fur babies.

Memorial services will be held August 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, UT 84047.
