Kent A Bertelsen

Kent A. Bertelsen, 74 our loving husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away peacefully in the early morning hours at home Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Born to Cecil and Norma Bertelsen on September 9, 1943 in Price, UT and raised in Spanish Fork, UT. He married his bride Rachel Gurule of 54 years on November 23, 1963. He loved her with all his heart and together they had 3 children, Angela, Kento and Micheal.
He was a skilled Auto Body Man for over 35 years. He took great pride in his craft and in his day he was one of the best around. Kent enjoyed huntin' and fishin' and was known for making the best jerky ever. He spent his time gardening, canning, reading, watching his favorite sports teams; the Jazz, Braves and Redskins. Always with his mug of Coke in hand and accompanied by his precious dogs. Kent was a wise-cracking jokester and always had people laughing with his sarcastic comments and phrases.
Survived by his wife Rachel, 3 children Angela, Kento, Mikey (Rashel). 8 grandchildren, Ebers, Tono, Mirandoo, Le'Le', Tres, Kaity, Jacer and Rykie. 8 great-grandchildren Zaiden, Zaniya, Michael, Marcus, Richie, Angelia, Aspen and Oakley. 2 sister Gloria (Mark) and Wanda (Bill). Preceded by his father Cecil, mother Norma, sister Connie and brother Cecil.
A viewing will be held at Aspen Funeral Home 459 West Universal Circle (9160 South) Sandy, UT on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 3 - 5pm.
