Kenneth D Taylor, 73, our loving and respected husband, father and grandfather, passed away January 20, 2017, at his home after two month battle with cancer.
Ken was born March 8, 1943 in Lehi, Utah to Myron Stanford and Nelda Degelbeck Taylor. On October 29, 1962, Ken married Kathleen Vawdrey in Murray, Utah.
Ken was an Iron Worker for 35 years, Iron Workers Union Local # 27, during which time he was foreman on the Current Creek Dam. At one time, he was an avid shooter and shot trap every Thursday night and Sunday. Ken participated in competitive shooting for several years, winning 2nd place in state, and was awarded many trophies. Fishing, hunting, and camping were his favorite pastimes. Times spent with his family at Gilbert Meadows or around the campfire in Duchesne with his cousins, lead to many stories that will always be treasured. Two of our family helpful sidekicks are Ramona and Tami, whose unselfish contributions mean the world to us.
