William Keith Millerberg passed away peacefully on November 30, 2015 surrounded by his family. Keith was born in Midvale, Utah on September 3, 1933 to Wallace Millerberg and Lillian Boggess. His mother passed away when he was six and his father married Celeste Dutson, who raised and loved him as her very own. What a joyous reunion there must have been in Heaven when Lillian got to hug her son again.
Keith graduated from Jordan High School in 1951 and enlisted in the United States Navy and served four years aboard the USS Stickell and the USS Prairie in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1955. Later that year he met the love of his life, Norene Evans, and they were married on June 14, 1956. Their marriage was later solemnized on October 5, 1964 in the Salt Lake Temple and they were sealed as a family for time and all eternity. They were blessed with two daughters, Kathy and Colleen, whom he loved unconditionally and was so very proud of. He would whistle when he came home from work and they would run to meet him and he said that made his day.
Keith was a co-founder and partner in Bonneville Machine from 1974 until 1994 when they sold the business. He shared his talents and skills as a machinist with many young men that worked for him. He loved to "make the chips fly." He truly loved his work and could fix anything. If he couldn't find the part he needed, he would go out to his shop and make one. Our dad could do anything. Prior to his death, he was employed with Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep for 15 years.
There wasn't a John Wayne movie he hadn't seen at least 10 times or more. He always said, "You can't get enough of John Wayne."
Keith was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings: Bishop, Counselor, 25 years as the Membership Clerk, and faithful Home Teacher. He loved the Savior and the gospel.
Keith is survived by his wife, Norene; daughters: Kathy (Gary) Robertson and Colleen (Rob) Shick. Grandchildren: Michele (Jeremy) Christensen, Ryan (Amber) Robertson, Nicole Robertson; Curtis, Marcus, and Sean Taylor. Great-grandchildren: Makayla, Emmalee, Hunter, and Olivia Christensen; Jameson and Ariah-Marie Robertson. Sisters: Joan (Bill) Bowring and Lorna Fagergren. Preceded in death by his father, Wallace; mother, Lillian Boggess; second mother, Celeste Dutson; brother, DeWayne, brothers-in-law, Nyle Evans and Joe Fagergren; and sisters-in-law, Mary Evans, and RoLayne Millerberg.
To my beloved husband: I will your miss your smile, your touch, and all the fun times we had together for almost 60 years. We were looking forward to our 60th anniversary on June 14, 2016. You were my husband, my partner, my best friend and you made my life complete. We will miss your strength, your love, and especially your "hugs"--they were the best. They say beginnings are scary, endings are sad, but it's the middle that counts. And ours was the best. Everywhere I am, there you'll be. Norene
