Kathy Wells

Kathy Wells 73, of Midvale, Utah, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family September 29, 2017. Daughter of Joseph and Alice Holt Mazuran born August 8, 1944 in Murray Utah. Attended Jordan High School, Class of 1962. Married Burke T. Wells July 2, 1962, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple August 8, 1973. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Midvale East 6th Ward 7250 S. 300 E., Midvale. Family and friends may visit Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary 8090 S. State St. or Friday morning at the ward 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah.

On a beautiful autumn evening, a cool quiet breeze crept in and swept our Kathy off to endless dreams of eternity. No one expected our sweet daughter, wife, mother and grandmother to go so swiftly. This special lady with a giving heart was a precious spirit to us all, always loving and caring.  Her sense of humor and contagious laughter will remain with all who were touched by her life. She will be greatly missed. Her family was her life and her life was her family. Other enjoyments in life were Disneyland with family, traveling, shopping, old movies and sports. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she held many callings.

Survived by her husband of 55 years Burke Wells, her mother Alice Mazuran, sister Marsha Mazuran, children Shaun (Colleen) Wells, Joel Wells, Lori (Shawn) Whitehead, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father Joseph Mazuran.
