Our beloved wife, daughter, mother, and friend passed away May 19, 2017 after a two-year battle with brain cancer.
She found her first love as a teenager when she discovered a passion for sign language. She led a lifetime of service to the deaf community as a sign language interpreter and an advocate for the deaf.
She enjoyed singing in duets with her mother and with the Sterling Singers, where she also performed in sign language.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother, and a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert Scott Fisher, and is survived by her parents Gerald and Maryanne Swan, her brothers Tom, Michael, and Robert Swan, her husband Arlo Hulick, and her children Jeremy Fisher, Kyrie Paredes, and Kenden Hulick.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Bennion 4th Ward, 6250 South 2200 West, where there will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. There will also be a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
