Karl Grant Larsen

Karl Grant Larsen, 80, passed away in his home on the 14th of August. Karl was born on July 18th, 1935 in Fountain Green, Utah to Grant Odell Larsen and Sarah Evelyn Augason Larsen. He lived in Spanish Fork, and Midvale, Utah. Karl worked at Utah State Prison, and Hill Air Force Base. He and his wife, Donna originated "The Fun Bus" and opened Donna's Tours for 40 years until retiring in 2005.

Karl received his Masters of Therapeutic Recreation at Brigham Young University as well as his Bachelors Degree in Recreation at the University of Utah. He was an active outdoorsman and was happiest while fishing, hunting, and camping.

Karl is survived by his wife, Donna Johnson Larsen; children, Debbie (Steve) Jones, Steve (Keleen) Larsen, and Michael (Theresa) Larsen; his three sisters, Karen (Danny) Stubblefield, Pat (Clarence) Mattinson, LuAnn (Dutch) Diamond, Wayne (Pat) Johnson, and Glenn (Gaylene) Johnson; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Vickie Lynn Larsen.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 18th from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale, Utah. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 19th at 2:00 pm at the Midvale Stake Center, 8171 So. Jackson St., Midvale, Utah. Interment at Midvale Cemetery.
