Karin Hildegard Beers

Karin Hildegard Zipf Beers Karin was born the only daughter of Albin and Blanda (Schmitt) Zipf in Wurzburg, Germany on May 12, 1966; she passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2016. Karin came to the United States in 1990 after marrying Gary Beers while he was stationed in Germany; in December of 1994, their beautiful Christmas gift, Sierra was born. Karin was an amazing photographer and had an eye for the beautiful things in life but her favorite model was her baby girl. Karin successfully owned and operated �D�Beers Studios� for several years while also attending Westminster College where she earned her Bachelor�s Degree in Arts. Karin also worked for her mother-in-law Cheryl at Hair Performance Salon doing nails where she had many clients that became lifetime friends. Karin loved to travel and she made sure that Sierra enjoyed the same; they saw the world together from all of Europe, to Hawaii and all the states in between. Karin was eccentric, beautiful, loving and had an amazing sense of style! She will be missed beyond measure and will never be far from our hearts. Karin is survived by her only child, her �maus�, Sierra Taylor Beers, her father Albin Zipf, brother Karlheinz Zipf, brother Jurgen (Ellfriede) Zipf, and nephew Marius. Karin is also survived by her very special and lifelong friend Debbie Mason who was her rock through so many trying and difficult times. Preceded in death by her mother Blanda. It was Karin�s wishes that she be cremated and Sierra will take her home to be put to rest with her Oma in Germany. The family is grateful for everyone in Karin�s life that supported her when she needed you most; we know that she is finally resting and at peace.
